Snacko Kickstarter Now Live!
Meowllo everyone! We have two big announcements today! The first one is:
Our Kickstarter campaign for Snacko is live right meow!
There's a lot of new footage and a shiny new trailer there for you to see, so please give it a peek. We'd love it if you spread the love and shared it with your friends, too!
The second announcement goes hand-in-hand with the first, and it’s that we’re happy to announce we’re partnered with Armor Games Studios to publish the game! What this means is that they’ve agreed to fund the game’s development, and also provide us other support and guidance along the way to make sure Snacko gets released as the best Snacko it can be. This won’t change anything about the way we’re working, or about the game itself; it just allows us to continue to work on the game full time, with some experienced help and other resources to free up some time from our paws to focus on development. (PS: this also means the game will be localized to other languages for our non-English speakers 😉)
So, if we’ve got a publisher, why Kickstarter? Well, Kickstarter is something we’ve always wanted to do, because we feel strongly about our community. We’ve already been so fortunate to have wonderful support from people on Patreon, and that feedback and encouragement means the world to us. Plus, the additional Kickstarter funding on top of Armor Games Studios’ support allows us to do things like plan for additional art and music support as needed, and other development contingencies or opportunities. 100% of the funds from Kickstarter will all be used for the game after taxes, and we promise to continue being transparent with you, the people who have supported us to get this far.Since beginning Snacko's development, we've updated our community with 20 monthly devlogs and 39 mini-devlogs for patrons, and we're not about to stop anytime soon! We're so thankful for you and your support through the months of development, and we're just as excited to see the game grow.
